Toilet-learning for Babies

Service Description

Come and learn how to practice toilet-learning with your baby (also known as elimination communication). Toilet learning is a gentle, gradual, child-centric method to support babies to stay clean more often, save on nappies, and bond with them as their control over their body grows. Spring is a great time to start as the weather is warmer and less clothes are in the way of your practice together. This is a flexible 'no-stress' method that is practiced by literaly billions of parents around the world in countries that don't have ready access to the convenience of disposable nappies, using wisdom that often doesn't get passed down anymore in our society, that you can build on with the unique knowledge you have of your child to fit your lifestyle. You will learn: * what mindset will set you and your little one up for success * when and how to start, and keep going as more confident * how to support your child and yourself to relax * how to use a potty/toilet at home, out and about, and at night * what clothing and accessories may be useful The size of the workshop will be limited to ensure you get plenty of interaction with the facilitator and each other - because it’s more fun learning things together! The class will have follow-up opportunities via a Facebook Group so you can check in with each other during your learning-journey. Your partners and babies are welcome to join us if you are a multi-tasker :)
